Default Exhaust Header Questions

So here is my delimma, I bought kooks headers and xpipe and the Corsa extreme axle back. I am having second thoughts on voiding my warranty. The Corsa extreme sounds great but I want more. Would you guys say just install the xpipe or just go all out and install the headers too.

is voiding your warranty just that important to having you zee be able to breathe and flow.

How come I keep hearing you can mount the kooks xpipe up to the stock headers but Corsa can. Can the kooks mid pipe be modified?

any X pipe will make those extremes a lot louder with the secondary cats removed.

Here is is a clip of my headers with extremes installed.

What mods do you have done? Any issues with warranty? What kind of tune and Dyno numbers you get?

No dyno yet unfortunately. I chose to go with the DiabloSport custom tune and just did the data log Saturday. I should have my custom tune back tomorrow to install.

I also installed an afe cold air intake and the Big 3 Racing expansion tank.

If you go headers tune it. If you aren't going to tune then just do the corsa xpipe and mufflers. I have headers intake ported tb and a tune. On warranty, there are plenty of cars pushing significantly more hp than the cars came from the factory with just fine. Adding headers won't put this car into a danger zone for power.

Just put a catless X pipe on it with the Corsa and it will be nice and loud. Do not add headers unless you are willing to tune your car. And tuning will of course jeopardize your power train warranty.

Headers are the only part that might void your warranty because of the tune.

You can get a custom tune from Diablo Lew for the headers that will get you real close to the numbers you would get with a street tune ....
