Last January I bought a 2015 Corvette Stingray in storage. It's a fantastic car! When I brought the car home at the end of April I noticed the AM stations came in with some static. This continued over the summer. So I just took the car to a Chev dealer close by. I was told that the infotainment system needed calibration. It took 60 to 90 minutes to do. Luckily I had a bumper to bumper platinum warranty on the car. I was charged $210 for this work but with the warranty I only had to pay the deductible- $100. It sounds fantastic now!
Anybody else out there had this issue with the 2015 infotainment system?
Kenhorse.... this is what it says on the service order/invoice: " programmed radio with new updated program"
What is interesting is I also purchased 5 years ago a new 2013 Honda Civic EX with the factory radio system installed..... I drive this car over the same roads that I drive the Corvette and the radio has always sounded fantastic.... no calibration ever needed on the Honda ....oh well.... but I love my Corvette!
