As I was leaving I got the above emails from onstar. Car didn't show any warning lights during track or after and car didnt enter ice mode, no abnormal pedal feel. Switched back to street pads since then and car drives normally. I'm assuming the higher friction pad compound made the wheel sensor send the computer a reading it considered to be outside of normal parameters. Should I have this looked into further or is it safe to ignore?

Yes, you need to see what history codes are recorded. Need a scanner that can read ABS codes.

Did you change wheels? The reason that I'm asking is I got the same message once when I changed wheels. Since then I just manually paired the tpms sensors. Good luck.

Default Don't TPMS sensors auto associate?

Don't TPMS sensors auto associate? I have two sets of wheels and can switch back and forth with no issues.

I have 3 sets and I can switch back and forth with no issues, most of the time. One of the times when I switched wheels I got the same exact thing as he did but they auto-associated before I got back home.

If it had been the due to the TPMS sensors he would have seen a message on the DIC. When they aren't connected to the car's system that message is right there on the DIC and has to be reset so you can see all of the display. He needs to check for codes as that is the only way to find out where the problem area is located.

When mine did it I didn't see a message in the D I C. I did get a text message and an email though.
