Default Uncoupling the fuel line - easy/messy?

I dont like messing with fuel lines until Ive spoken to someone first, hence this post

I would like to uncouple this fuel line, so that I can move the wiring loom the other side of it and tuck it down behind my valve covers:

I'm assuming that the line is under pressure when the ignition is on, is it also under pressure at any other time (like unlocking the car?). Does it disconnect easily?

Thanks

It disconnects easily with a 3/8 fuel line disconnect tool. The line is under pressure when the car is on and for a good while after the car is off. You can minimize fuel loss/rapid pressure release by doing it after the car has been off overnight. I normally just put my fuel disconnect tool in then wrap the whole coupling in a rag while I undo it.

I have a list for such occasions

Procharger P1SC1 Supercharger (11PSI) - soon to be F1A
Alky Control Methanol Injection Kit w/ Dual M15 Nozzles
MSD Atomic Airforce Intake Manifold
Vengeance Racing Forged Pistons
Vengeance Racing Stage 3 Camshaft
Brian Tooley Racing Dual Valve Spring kit w/ Titanium Retainers
Vengeance Racing Hardened Pushrods
C5R Reinforced Timing Chain
Brass Bushed Rocker Arm Trunions
LS7 Lifters
Top Speed Decat Long Tube Headers
Borla Decat X-Pipe
LT4 Fuel Pump and Injectors
Monster Triple Plate Clutch
Mighty Mouse Catch Can
WeaponX Valve Covers and Coil relocation Kit
MSD Ignition Wires
Red Silicone radiator hoses
ARP Bolt Kit
SacCityCorvette Billet Oil Diverter Barbell

The MSD is good for a few extra hp if you are n/a, but I wouldn’t bother on a booster car. I’m actually thinking of getting rid of mine as the “sandwich” construction makes me nervous of putting too much boost into it and blowing it apart.
