I am seriously thinking about ordering a new Grand Sport in Elkhart Lake blue and was filling out the build your own sheet. One of the options listed was a performance air intake for $690 but I could not find the option code for that anywhere. Any ideas/help? Thank, Courtney
I highly recommend searching this board for feedback on the performance intake pros/cons for the Grand Sport before spending $690; I opted not to purchase one
thanks I appreciate your opinion. Not sure what I will do yet but looks like easy way to get one installed. I was going to put aftermarket one on my 2014 but the install looked to be more than I wanted to attempt. So plus it will look good on the option sheet if I want to sell it. Thanks, CJ
The GM air box has no fitment issues and there is a lot of engineering in that piece, much more that a lot of forum members are willing to acknowledge as GM is claiming realistic hp numbers.

A waste of money. It supposedly gives 5 HP to the Z06. Even so, $690 is $138 a horse, not worth it.

Yeah? Show me the realistic proof for those numbers. The airbox is a waste of money.
