Default Ticking

When slowly accelerating i hear a ticking from the motor. could it be noisy lifter?

Maybe, how about a loose plug wire? If you have an OBD2 reader, check for misfire codes. Random misfire is P0300. Specific cylinder P030X with "X" being the cylinder number. If it is lifter going bad then you should start to get misfires. Ordinarily you should not hear lifters unless you have put headers on.

The injectors also are noisy, but again, the key is look for misfire codes.

There is a TSB for the fuel line check valve. Its mounted near the fire wall. Some say it causes a ticking sound when its not working correctly.
