I'm interested in LG's shifter. Wondering if anyone has installed one yet. Stock was very sloppy, I installed and have been using a MGW. But I find that if is too easy to mess up 3, 5, 7 shifts still, Especially when shifting fast. Interested in feedback on what LG is offering.
Thanks,
Tony
A local customer with our shifter in his C7Z06 made 20+ passes at WannaGoFast last weekend and didn't miss any shifts (I made it a point to ask). I don't think he's on the forum but I'll check and see if he can post some feedback if he is.
Thanks!
Dane

I'm skeptical that changing out the MGW for another shifter will make a noticeable difference in missed shifts but please keep us up to date if you make changes.

Just so you know, you are not alone in the 3/5/7 with the MGW. It never happens on the street but on a road course I've accidentally done the 2-1 shift and started to release the clutch when I realized. It also happened on a drag strip during LS fest last year. If I am shifting too aggressively, I'll hit 7th instead of 5th too. Happens less now than it did in the beginning but I try to be more deliberate when making the shifts. I still think it is better than stock, and also agree I don't believe another shifter is going to help.

Customer went from stock to ours not from MGW to ours. Didn't mean to insinuate that ours had some sort of anti-miss shift black magic over the MGW lol.
honestly, I have MGW and I love it (same might be true for LG though I haven't tried it). I've been tracking regularly and generally run advanced/d group. never missed a shift. MGW makes the shift actions very clean and reduce slop however its all about technique (how you position your palm) and timing - don't force it.

Many people believe that the MGW is the best shifter there is.The truth is they haven’t tried other shifters.I’ve felt it.I do admit the MGW is better than stock but it’s nowhere near the shortest throws.
