2014 transmission problem

My 2014 Stingray will not always upshift properly when accelerating quickly. Has anyone else had this problem and what does it take to solve it?

You have a sticking shift control solenoid. It needs to be replaced.

Man the man says it with conviction! Must have experience with this issue? Where is the shift control solenoid? Is it in the tranny?

Thanks for the info. Is this inside the transmission or somewhere outside? I did a quick search and could not find any part Do you have a GM part number? I will keep looking but thanks again.

Someone posted about this and said it is the way the vehicle responds when you stop on it. My vehicle does the same. Something about your vehicle thinks your ready to play and vehicle stays in lower gear so you can launch. After reading that it doesn’t concern me any more. I just lay off for 10 seconds then all good.
