No, I do not have this issue,= C7 Base model.
Possible solutions for FREE:
1) Thoroughly read your owners manual again?
2) Check your fuse panel?
3) Disconnect and reconnect your battery, in order to reboot your computer?
(Please note: I had HUD on my 2006 C6 3lt)
