Default Next step for mods

So I've been doing tons of searching and trying to come up with the next wave of mods. I have a 2015 z51 m7
Current: afe cold air, tony mamo TB, borla catless xpipe, diablew tune

I was budgeting like $3-3.5k, I was thinking ARH mid length headers, msd intake mani and a 103mm tb. Seem like a good move? Im not trying to be the fastest ever so i can't justify the money for a super charger and such. Also, theres no e85 where I live. These will probably finish off the build until I move to a z06 (someday)

Suggestions?

My suggestion would be ARH longtubes, Port your Factory LT1 intake, and tuning. Sell your Borla X pipe and get a few hundred back.

X2 on the arh headers and stock ported intake. Look into getting a remote tune or dyno tune done using hp tuners as well. I can port your stock intake if interested

Looks like he's already using DiabLew for remote tuning (whom I've had very good experiences with). +1 on getting the factory intake manifold ported. I have the WeaponX but am also very impressed with SoCal Porting's LT1 manifold work. He does a fantastic job on the factory exhaust manifolds too. I actually just ordered the AFE HFC pipes to go between my ported/coated exhaust manifolds and Borla X-pipe. Stick with the factory ported throttle body, no need for a 103mm on this fairly basic bolt-on setup.

Correct me if I'm wrong but would the ARH long tubes be the same as mid lengths + borla x pipe?

Why not just skip to a blower? For the money spent and what you’re considering spending it would be more cost effective.

I've considered it and I understand it's the best bang for your buck, but I really cant justify spending double what I felt comfortable with especially if I'd like to upgrade a few years down the road

Weight and heat, but yeah, more bang-for-the-buck.

All depends on how the car is used as well as the chosen blower. I will say for the street and strip a blower is a great option.

So it seems consensus is ported stock intake mani and ARH headers. I'd do a blower if they had a kit for like 4k but I've never seen any that cheap unless someone else has?

Check in the for sale/wanted section for a used one. Post up a wanted ad with your budget and more than likely you will get a great deal. I bought my Procharger used for $4,000.00 including labor for the install. If that deal didn’t show up... I would have gone the bolt on way then onto a built NA monster

Seems like a good move, it's not risky buying a used one?

If you can do your own install then check out Andy, send him a PM, email or phone call. He has deals like this fairly often and will be happy to answer all your questions and this should be close to your budget.

The C7 I bought mine from had 7000 miles on it (the car). Less than 3,000 miles on the Procharger. The car was traded in and the stock air box and other things were needed. The risk at that time was minimum for me

I also have a 2015 Z51 M7. Lots of mods, z06 grill, trunnion upgrade, light weight Innovator West balancer, Halltech carbon cai, Granatelli insulated wires, dss carbon driveshaft, LG G2 coilovers, Katech light weight flywheel, ARH mid length headers, Borla catless x-pipe, B & B bullets, delete NPP, delete AFM, removed actuators, tuned, LG quiet end links, silicone rad hoses, MSD intake, and some other minor mods. Love the car. Enjoy your decision.

I'd go with TSP instead of ARH to save some $$ to go towards something more. There's no real performance difference between the two. You're paying $1000 or more for the ARH name. You can get a set of TSP longtubes + x-pipe for around $1,000 shipped. That leaves you $2,500 left over for other stuff such as your intake if you want. I wouldn't bother with a ported throttle body.. .they are pretty worthless. I would however recommend a good dyno tune in place of a PTB. If there's anything left over after that, get a MGW short throw shifter.

TSP longtubes - $1,000
MSD Intake - $1,200
MGW Shifter - $450
Tune - $500
Total - ~$3,150

If you increase your budget a little and can do the work yourself, the LT4 conversion kit is about $4,500 at Weapon-X including the supercharger. Could likely find the parts cheaper if you bought them all separate (there's some pretty good deals posted in the for sale section all the time). Probably a better bang for your buck even though you said you can't justify the cost of a supercharger. Not sure if you were thinking about a brand new kit or what. This is the route I would go, but you'll definitely need to budget for a dyno tune from GOOD tuner. Diablew won't cut it.
