Default Safe ramp usage

Looking for advice on servicing 2018 GS and realized the Race Ramps I just bought are a tad small for the 285's and 335s Rear Tires. Has anyone used the RR-56 ramps with Jack Stands and a Floor jack (3 points of failure) for work under the car? I'm a little skittish as I recently had a friend with a Rhino Ramp that started to bulge outward (graceful failure) and I have the same ramps actually.

Here are the ramps I purchased for a very good price FYI.

Wouldn't worry about it. The Rhino Ramps didn't bulge out because the tire was wider than the ramp. They bulged out because they were over loaded. Either the tire was way off to one side over loading that side or the overall weight as too much for the ramps. Put the tires evenly on the Race Ramps and they will hold the load if they are rated for the weight.

I like the race ramps. The only thing I would change is more room on the flat landing to put a wheel chock behind the front wheels...

I now have a second set of the smaller race ramps that I run the rears up onto prior to jacking to give me more clearance when jacking from the rear...

I started out with race ramps and a good floor jack with jack stands. I bought a quick jack last year and I wish I'd done that in the beginning. You might want to think about getting the quick jack. When you add the cost of all the other items you've pretty much paid for them anyway.

I've the long, 2-piece Race Ramps... don't know length but work okay for either end of the C7. Yes, I back the rear up on the ramps, use a pair of floor-jacks under the front side pucks, and a pair of stands in the front as per the Manual for doing transmission checks. I don't see why one couldn't swap ends and do the same. Solid set-up and I've survived for a long-time doing similarly. If in any doubt, I jack then set the car on stacks of 2x12s.
