Default C7 Rack replacment

I have a 2015 Z06 that has a damaged rack! i have serched to see if it can be replaced without dropping the cradle with mixed reviews. I know dealership repairs state that the cradle has to come down which looks to be crazy hard but have seen a few people say it can be done without dropping the cradle. My rack got completely broke on the drivers side inner tie rod and part of the gear has fallen out due to the accident. Thanks for the input on this sure not wanting to drop the cradle!!!!!!!

You don't have to remove the cradle to get it out and back in. I have done it without removing the cradle. If you have the right tools it isn't too tough to remove.

You’ll need to prop the hood up as well, the struts are attached to the sway bar mounts.
