I have a z06 and took it in for an alignment because the front tires were wearing on the inside. alignment shop showed its within specks. z06 are set with neg camber which rides on the inside i.e. normal wear. So my question is why set alignment with a neg camber?
First it isn't the camber, it is toe.
now to answer the real question. the specs are too loose.
you need the best settings front toe should be 0 not in or out
rear just a degree out
rear caster also needs set. most shops do not know how or have the right tools.
look for a race shop to get it done right

Do you want track alignment or street? They come from the factory with an aggressive track alignment and the inside of the fronts will wear very quickly.

That isn't correct. The cars don't come from the factory with an aggressive track alignment. Most of the ones I have played with come with the camber at all 4 wheels within + or - 0.1 degrees of -1.0 degrees. At those settings Rear Caster usually falls within GM's specs of + or - of 0.8 degrees on each side. GM doesn't specify a rear cross caster setting.
GM's recommended track setting is -2.0 degrees camber at all 4 wheels. That is double the amount a car off the delivery truck has.
