I just programmed about 15 XM channels on my 2016 C7, When the engine is not running, I can scroll thru the channels on the steering wheel and see them on the dash and the nav screen so I know they are loaded. The minute I fire up the car the scroll (fav) steering wheel buttons stop working and the channels are not displayed. Solution? Thanks J

have to go thru display settings and select the number of PRESETS you want to see. its an option in there for it, but if you have them programmed in order then the steering wheel control will show the display of all of them you saved up in the center of the dash/rpm/mph area.

Yes I did that and they do display in the center and I can scroll thru them....the strange problem is, when I start the car, the controls on the steering wheel don't work anymore and I can't change the channels with the steering wheel control.....nor does the channels show up in the HUD.....

did you program for one remote and then when starting the car, it's pre-sets for the other? I don't know if the car keeps different pre-sets for each driver....

I dont think the radio does that. But if it did why would all my preset stations show up on the dash and nav until I start it, seeing as I unlockec the car with only the one remote.

Good point. Set them up while the car is running? See if they stay then?

My favorite buttons on my steering wheel on my 2017 base Stingray do not work until about 1 minute after the car has been running. The electronics take some time to boot up completely. If you have tried waiting for a minute to see if it works or not, then a trip to the dealer may be in order if it does not work.
