Default Carlyle 15 inch conversion install

How is the conversion install? Anything major i should know before going into this install?

Get the adjustable toe links for the rear as well, it makes the alignment so much easier and you don’t have to compromise between perfect camber or toe. You can have both
Also, you have the option of lowering the cradle to get the forward lower control arm bolts out OR you can buy 2 new bolts to install backwards and simply cut the orig 2 bolts saving the labor of lowering the cradle. And definitely use the Carlyle conversion.
Yet another tip would be get get the rubber sealing boots from summit for the rod ends on the control arms, and the tool to put them on. Once installed on the rod end, you can pull up the lip and stick the tube from a can of lithium grease and squirt a little in there. All this keeps lube on the joint and dirt out so there is very little wear.

Did you use new leaf bumpers or cut the stock ones?

I had cut the stock ones when the car was new, but installed aftermarket when I did the build on the back half of the car.

I'm in the process of installing this kit with G-force axles and when hanging on the lift the axle hit the shock. Did you have this issue with the DSS axles I'm guessing they should be close to the same size.

So was there any problem with getting the car aligned after installing the 2 inside bolts backwards...currently going that route right now as we speak.
