Help with AFE intake
A few months ago I bought a used AFE intake, it was off of a 2016 grand sport and I have a zo6. I assumed that it wouldn’t be an issue but it seems like the intake does not fit and was wondering what the difference is between the zo6 intake and the grand sport is it just the filter or it the whole intake different?
The filter seems to hit the inside of the fender and stick out on the back side of the AFE air box (the thing with the little plastic cover that is clear and says afe)into the engine bay. So to me it seems like they maybe just have a different filter but I’m not sure?

The entire thing is different. You need the Z06-specific version. They redesigned the box and filter for the Z06, along with the intake pipe, from the original design that fits LT1 model C7's.

I had one of my friends come and help me and also called AFE and it turns out I do have the zo6 intake it was just the wrong filter, I thought that it was off a gs but that may have been another part I bought. sorry
but I do have a new in the box stock filter replacement afe blue filter if you would be interested in that but I don't know if the Z06 and GS have the same filter. the part #10-10132 according to AFE website it looks like they take the same filter.
