Ok guys, here is my situation, I was installing a K&N air filter on my 2015 Z51 Cp. & while putting back the air intake tube, I heard the part shown in the photo hit the ground, I cannot see where it came from and a trip to the dealer got me a "I dunno" from the service guy, please someone help me, I haven't driven my car since & I'm getting itchy, thanks for any input.

WAG. It looks like a locking clip. On some connections, after pushing them together this little part is pushed in (or pulled up to unlatch) to lock them together. You may not have realized this was on one of your connections when unhooking everything & broke it & then it fell below. Many connections of electrical parts use these "locks". There is one on the MAF connector when unplugging it to install a ported throttle body. Do you remember any connection that was a big PITA to unplug? Just my guess.

Rob, I didn't unplug anything, just moved it to the side, I did assume it was a cover for some electrical connector, but wasn't sure which or where to look.
"Service guys" at dealers know nothing... typically, if you mean service writers. Check with the Parts Department. Show them; they may have a box of them. My locals let me look at their 'puterized Parts Manual and even prints what I wish. And/or if they have a person who actually works on newer Vettes, that almost always answers such questions. Again, this has worked for me.
