Default Track only alignment question...

I pretty much only use my Z06 for track use now. Only street driving may be less than 200 miles a year. I'd like to get the best alignment for track only use. I've seen the discussions on the DSC alignment, and will use that, unless I get better responses here. So my question, the GM recommended toe alignment states: "Toe: 0.05 degrees toe in", however the DSC guide states: -0.5mm, are those basically the same?

Also, on the DSC guide, it states to remove washers on the TRACK/STREET settings, but not for FULL TRACK, any reason why?

DSC is not set up for pure track. It’s a street handling set up really. This is what I was running with slicks. Car was amazing at the limit! I could oversteer with precision at 120 mph exiting the sweeper at Buttonwillow with no TC!

DSC actually recommends toe OUT at rear, which is crazy for most, including me. I opted to have a very slight toe in instead.

My settings are:
(Camber / caster / toe; degrees)
Front: -3 / 7.9 / 0
Rear: -2 / 0.8 / 0.05

GM track prep already recommends -2 front and -2 rear camber. Many found better performance with more front camber, including me. It also helps increase the front tire life by supporting them better in sharp turn-ins.

I would not set camber below -2 on any corner on any C7 Corvette for track use.

I ran toe out with 2.0/1.7 in my z51 and I hated it. Any slight bump on the highway and it was really scary. Also due to the shitty DSC calibration for z51s.

I moved to -2.0 / -2.0 with 295/305s and that was great rotation, great balance.

On my new z06 I'm shooting for -2.2 front and -2 rear with 315/335s.. will adjust from there.

It is still a primarily street driven car though. So I don't want to wear out the insides to and from Track. Even with -2/-2 I was wearing the insides of my track tires just from driving to and from.

My experience so far with Z06 is that it's much harder on the outer edges of the tires, even when compared against my Z51. Z06 vs Z07 might make a difference, too. Let's see how it will work out for you : )
