I read through the install directions and saw once the oem muffler is removed you will need to cut the existing pipe to put a coupler on and then attach the new AWE touring muffler. Kinda made me not want to get it. I have 14 z51 M7 btw.

I'm in the same boat. 2017 stingray non npp. Don't want the AFM check engine light, but also don't really want to cut my mufflers. Range devices won't prevent the CEL, and the only way I'm seeing to prevent said CEL is to tune it out with HPTuners. So at this point (unless I'm wrong, which I hope I am), we're stuck with either cutting the exhaust behind the muffler, or running around with a CEL.

Ordered yesterday
I just ordered the valve back. I am not too concerned about cutting stock exhaust as they will end up being stored in case I go back to stock someday. The vendor said he has one on the shelf so I should be installing next weekend. I am in Sacramento if anyone is local and want to check out.

Sound's pretty good, did you do the install yourself? We didn't get a before and after, or any in cabin shots, how much louder is it than stock non npp? I want to go pretty loud.

Mine was NPP, and it’s a good bit louder than with my fuse pulled. Cabin noise has gone up but in a good way. You can actually hear the car. I did install myself, it is fairly easy. Getting the rear lower fasia off is a little tricky but if you take your time and look at all the clips, it goes well. I’d say over all noise has gone from a 5 with fuse pulled to a 7.5 maybe 8. It has a much better tone tho!!
