Default Stock exhaust question

I’m possibly looking at buying a stock NPP axle back exhaust from a GS to put on my non NPP base model and wanted to know if it should bolt right up or if their not the same size and bend. My car is a 16 and the GS appears to be an 18 if that matters. Thanks for the help

It will bolt up, but you won't be able to use the valves.

The NPP valves will stay open (loud mode). You would need to apply 12 vdc through a switch to be able to open / close from inside the car.

Thanks for the info. Would the Z06 axle back also fit on a base model?

The NPP exhausts are all the same, whether its a base car, grand sport, or Z06. The differences are with the AFM valves. Whether they're present (auto) or not (manual)

The Z06 axle back won't have the AFM valves required for the LT1 cars. Those are located in the axle back not in the X pipe.

Bill

I see. Do the Z06 autos never go into V4 mode outside of Eco mode?
