Hey guy's I have a 19 z06 and installed my halltech air intake (no tune required) today following the install video. After install I have a check engine light on with reduced power. Has anyone had any issues similar or give me some advice on what to do to correct the issue? Car only has 500 miles on it and had no codes prior. No leaks from the hose that were modified either.

Start by buying a cheap code reader and see what it says you are actually seeing. It may be as simple as deleting it (if it is one you can) or disconnecting the battery for a while and reconnecting. Another possibility is that you accidentally mucked up something else during the install and never noticed. The code might well tell you.

I unplugged the battery for 20 mins and reconnected it and the check engine light and reduced power message went away. I found a post that said if you unplug the mass air sensor for too long it will through a light and reduced power message. Seems to work so far. Thanks for the advice though.

Totally unnecessary. Just open and close the hood. That usually takes care of the temp. code.
