Default Performance Track Management balks

For those who have PTM & have tracked their cars-has this ever happened? I spent the last two days at NCM tracking my car. Before I go on track, I turn the MRC control to "Track" & then hit the center button twice which brings up the PTM modes. I then move it to "Sport 1". This procedure worked flawlessly for my first 5 track sessions. However for the 6th, when I turned the **** to "Track" & hit the center button twice, the PTM mode selector would not appear. I don't know what causes this & how to fix it. Any thoughts?

I have had some issues with it not appearing and when that happens I change the speed at which I push the center button. It may take a few pushes to get it to come up properly. Sort of like what happens on my PC every now and then when the mouse click process gets slowed by some other internal process and the system doesn't respond properly to the mouse clicks.

I had the same experience and also just made selections slower to allow the computer to keep up.

If speed and/or pace of button-pushes doesn't fix it, one can always do a "hard reboot" by unhooking the battery ground-cable for a while and reconnecting it. Good luck!
