it's a hard short vacuum line that goes underneath the supercharger by the front passenger side.

Okay so I'm guessing that's the Boost vacuum source. Any idea what happens if that is unplugged like the way I found it? Is it possible that can blow off during hard track use?

I wouldn’t think that vacuum hose would blow off from boost pressure alone, did the car happen to backfire under acceleration? It would only take one backfire or pop back through the blower to blow that hose off.

No backfire, someone was recently working on the car and I'm guessing they forgot to plug it back in. I was just wondering what would happen differently while it was unplugged? The car did not throw any codes or check engine light, in fact it appeared to drive & run perfectly normal, well except for the fact that my catch can was catching a lot of oil during track use

The way I understand the operation of the boost solenoid the bypass valve would be closed if there was no vacuum at the boost control solenoid. So if my thinking is correct you would not lose any boost with that vacuum hose off, The boost solenoid is controlled by the PCM and it is pulse width modulated based on inputs received.
Because when vacuum is applied it overcomes the spring tension of the bypass actuator and opens the valve (no boost) when the vacuum cannot be applied, (vacuum hose off) the spring tension from the bypass valve actuator closes the valve (boost).
