Default False cel light? No codes.. crazy inconsistant flickers and blinks.

For past week I have been beating my head into the wall chasing what I thought was a random and inconsistant misfire. I did a camswap and several other upgrades about a month ago and car has and still is driving awesome and even more in love with the car. But... a week ago my heart went into my throught when I started noticing misfire cel indictor. But finally today I noticed something driving. I'm convinced no misfire is happening at all actually. The cel light flickers and blinks like crazy but not like I would think. It's extremely inconsistant.. I'm going to try to video and post later to late right now I'll **** my neighbors off. Lol. My definition of flicker and blink are different. When I say flicker I mean light comes on like microseconds and goes out similar to a lightbulb with a shorted neutral wire. A blink may come for 1/4 second. Heres.. I'll give u example how cel comes on and off best I can keeping my definitions of each in mind.

Flicker...flicker... blink.. flicker solid for a 2 seconds flicker...flicker like crazy for 3 or 4 seconds go solid a second. Stop car goes out completely. Again completely random the pattern.

So I'm like this looks like a shorted wire somewhere causing false cel reading. Went into empty parking lot that was smooth. Idled for like a few minutes. And again I can idle all day no light. Then I wanted to test my theory... so parking lot newly paved and very smooth. I can go up and down the lanes no light. Open throttle up down a lane. No light... run over a manhole cover.. LIGHT!! Iflickered while running over pot hole. Mean while there is no loss of power or pitch in noise changed whatso ever. Drives like a dream even when its flickering for several seconds at a time. So I ran over manhole 3 more times. Every time a light flicker. I drove in circles at a moderate speed... light stayed on the whole time.. no blink... no flicker... just solid on the whole time I was turning I straightened out continues same speed down a lane light went out. This has to be a shorted or loosely connected wire somewhere giving false cel indicator. And again never any codes. Had great compression when I check every cylinder almost exactly the same at 180 psi. Replaced plugs and wires even though they checked out good. This is driving me nuts what could be causing this. Any ideas what could cause that?

Always start your post with the basics. Model year? Transmission? Engine? Coupe? Suspension?

And, what "other upgrades"?

Log it while repeating this test.
Look for O2 signal or something else that drops out or changes when the CEL comes on.
Does it leave any codes?

No codes whatsoever and drives great. Never any power loss. Turning keeps the light on till u straighten out then goes away. Bumps make it flicker. Bumpy or dirt roads make it stay on with indeterminate and random flickers.

Ya that's what I'm thinking. I have my dyno appointment the 17th with vengeance. I'm sure mike will find the problem.. hes one of the best. But as an engineer.. I see this happen alot with things I've worked on. Looks like shorted wire that is dropping voltage that giving false reading. Car been driving loke a dream. New spark plugs.. new wires. Compression and leak good. Gas fresh with boost. It's got to be either tune related or loose connection or shorted wire somewhere.
