Antigravity Batteries has a drop in fit Lithium-Ion Battery for the C7 Corvettes... Weighs only 14 lbs, and save 30lbs off the stock battery ... But the amazing thing is the battery has BUILT-IN WIRELESS Jump Starting. So you will never be stranded by a dead battery again. It also has a lifespan of 8-10 years.

I would suggest using an AGM battery but do not recommend an Optima. There are many reports of issues with Optima batteries since they moved the manufacture to Mexico.
Before Optima was bought out I swore buy them, even though back then I had to order them from Summit Racing . However, after getting two faulty ones in short order far more recently I'll not pay their premium price any further. Antigravity might make sense for some racing applications where every pound saved is the primary concern. On the street the price is silly, apart from bench-racing. All the best.

It’s silly to spend $60k plus on an impractical car in the first place so it’s silly not to buy the best battery for it. Saving 30 lbs is always good and remote emergency starting and double lifetime are even better. And it cranks like a sob, even in a Pittsburgh winter. Oh, and bending over to install it in the recessed hole in the C7 was a nice break for my old back, unlike heaving out that old load of lead. Fit perfectly, too.
