Default Airbag Service Light

I have a 2014 Vette that was poked in the nose. They replaced the airbag but the service airbag light is still on. Do I have to replace the module or have it reset? Can it be reflashed? How hard of a job is it to replace? Anyone have the procedure or tips for me?
Thanks
Dave

Disconnect your battery for a couple of minutes and see if that resets it.

Well I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes and put it back on and the Service Airbag light is still on but now I have a Service Power Steering light also. Power steering feels fine. Just one problem after another. Guess I'm going back to my original post. :-(

Sounds like the inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module must have a code B0052. This is a code that is set when the air bags are commanded to deploy. It has to be reset using the proper scan tool. If the code won't clear the module has to be replaced. Sounds more like an incomplete repair Vs one problem after another. As for the power steering service message that could have been generated when the ground cable was disconnected and reconnected. Have you checked the codes using a sensor that can do more than look for OBD2 codes? Cheap scanners usually won't work with air bag, abs and body codes.

I'll have to get someone with a better scan tool and try it.
Thanks

I’m thinking we have to go to the dealership to clear the code. My driver side steering wheel bag deployed. Do I also need to replace the seat belt retractor ?
