Default Rough cold starts with engine misfire codes

I own a 2016 chevy corvette Z51. I saved money over period of time and was excited until I started to have issues. I took car to local chevy dealer in NJ, with what was stored codes P0300 and P0308 told them about rough cold start, knock and flashing CE light. After checking, they said they did not see coolant in engine cylinders (which is suspect in my book) and diagnosed the issue to fuel injector for 8th cylinder and claim they replaced that. After few days of driving, I kept getting the same issue of white smoke from exhaust, slight engine knock at highway speeds (rpms constantly go up and down by almost 100-150 rpm) and rough idle starts with one time complete stall. Researched and found service bulletin #PIP5498B. I called GM customer service but was met with no offer to help from GM engineering, lack of knowledge and no empathy, which was more disappointing. Now I have the check engine light on again (this time with P050D) and no support from anyone, incl GM, which is a shame. Turning to my fellow corvette owners for help and direction to see anyone have had prior experiences that can help and hopefully better resolutions.

How did they check for the presence of coolant in the cylinders? It's easy to see some wetness and assume it's fuel instead of coolant or coolant instead of fuel/oil. White smoke from the exhaust usually indicates coolant into a cylinder and that's usually what causes the mis fire on cold start. The only couple that we've seen it happen to were very small amounts and it burned off quickly. Once burned off and warmed up, the car ran great and had no other issues. The easiest way to confirm is to add dye to the cooling system, run the engine up to operating temps, shut the engine off and pressurize the cooling system. let it sit several hours (or overnight) and then check for the coolant/dye mix in the cylinder that showed mis fires. We replaced a cylinder head for a coolant leak and it was porosity in the casting if I remember right.

If you have a coolant pressure tester, you can probably try to diagnose yourself, but it's more than likely covered under warranty so a dealer should be able to get it figured out.
