Hey guys, i got a 2014 corvette c7
this morning i went to start it up after 2 weeks keep in mind i only start and drive it a few times a year.
It would not start and my key would not open the door, so i thought it might be a dead battery on the key. But when i got in through the trunk hooked up the jumper cables & put the fob in the designated area for when the fob battery is dead, it would not turn over. When i try to turn it over i press the button, it says press clutch to start, when i press to start it shut turns off as if there was no start option and as if i just wanted it off. When i click the start button i can hear a click in the trunk by the connectors but i think thats normal even when it does start. Can someone help before i have to figure out how to tow to the dealer
How long since you replaced the battery has the new battery been charged. Looks to me like you have not kept a battery maintainer on the car when not in use. I would make sure the new battery has a good full charge.
