Default Sway Bar & Shock options

I have a 2014 base without mag ride. I am wanting to upgrade the shocks and sway bars. I am leaning towards the factory Z51 parts but wanted to hear any any thoughts on other brands and options. Thanks for any input!

If you are lowering your car at all you might want to consider the Bilstein B8 shocks. They are made for lowered cars.
Another option for the same price is the thicker Z06 sway bars.

I'd not considered the Z06 bars. I don't plan on changing anything other than the shocks and bars at this time. I hope someone who has put the Z06 bar on their base model will share their experience.

I was coming from a C5 Z06 so I was disappointed with the handling of my ‘17 base Stingray and was determined to make it better without spending big bucks. So I lowered it first on the stock bolts which slightly improved the handling. Next installed the 29 mm front and 31 mm rear mag ride FE4, FE6, or FE7 sway bars, huge improvement but still not completely stable. Next installed the Bilstein B8 shocks, now the suspension was rock solid and better than that of C5 Z06. Only problem was I cracking my molar teeth because the ride was so harsh so I got rid of those run flats and installed none run flat Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. It’s perfect now!
