Default Elite catch can instructions?

The instructions on their site seem confusing. Can not determine which hose to cut to install the Clean air separator. They shw 2 hoses Ihave 4 hoses. I am trying to install on my 2019 GS.
Also do I have to remove the engine cover to locate the hoses?? Third issue I have a different ontake coupler. Mine is solid and looks like a smal inner tube.
Anyone have some input
Thanks
Fred
