What Bill and Bad Habit said. I’m amazed at the number of folks on here that complain about tires wearing out in 7k miles. My Z51 got 35k on the original set. And I drive HARD. Turn your wheel left or right when fueling and look at your front tires. You’ll be able to instantly get a look at how they’re wearing. Gotta get on your hands and knees to see the rears.
I have over 40k now and I’m on my second set of Michellins. Never been aligned.
I'm with those above, however...
Look closely at your rears, the factory setup was a bit aggressive (camber) to improve cornering grip.
If you see the inside edges worn then you may want to specify the touring setup to minimize the wear (providing you don't track the car)
