Coincidence.... Mine just started doing this yesterday. 2014 Base Stingray with Manual Transmission. It also disabled my Rev Matching. Was going to drive it to Chevy in the morning since it drives fine and all gauges look good.

Thermostat went out. Not an expensive fix and was not delayed by the strike. Also fixed my issue where my ac would sometimes cut out if I had it set too cold.

Are you sure that the thermostat went bad? Or was it the Engine Coolant temperature (ECT) sensor?

Yeah, pulled error code p0128, had the thermostat replaced and all is well again. Under 400 dollar fix.

Another data point: 2014 Z51, not getting to temperature, rev limit indication on tach, intermittent loss of temp guage and fan running after the car is turned off. Changed the thermostat, end of problem.
