Default Brake specs needed

At what point do I need to replace the rotors and pads. Ok, I know the pads have a device to let you know when but what about the rotors? What is the min thickness?

That all depends on how you use the car. Track it and you could be replacing rotors every few months. Just drive on the highway you might never replace a rotor. For a street/highway driven car you could probably go through two sets of pads before reaching minimum thickness. If you have a Stingray the answer may be different than if you have a Z51, GS or Z06 or Z07. You can find the min thickness stamped on the edge of the rotor face and ceramic rotors have the minimum weight and thickness printed on the rotor hat.
