Default Help!

Hey guys. Sorry I’m advance if I posted in the wrong area. New to this forum, I own a 2014 stingray z51 7mt. I just got this babe a few days ago and I hear a click/tick sound coming from inside the car. Sounds like plastic? Not too aware of these newer cars, previous corvette was a c5. At first I thought it was the radio/speakers but even when turned off. I hear a click sound coming from the inside. Any help or direction to the correct area would be appreciated!

if it happens at slow speeds and in a sharp turn, thats normal... where do you think the noise is coming from... how many miles on vehicle?

Could be your roof. They have been known to make a little noise. I think there is a fix for the earlier models it has to do with the pins.

Haven’t noticed it during turns. But I do notice it going from 15-45ish mph. It has 15k miles on it.

Push up on the roof and see if that stops it...

I have a 14 as well and believe I have the same issue. On mine it's the ac vent. The vent on the right side of the steering wheell is a little loose. So next time your driving hold onto it and see if it stops. Hope this helps....

Can you not localize it at all? Terribly difficult without at least that. Yes, it can be the top, especially at the back mounting points. It can be at the speakers, even if the stereo is off (the turn-signal "click" emanates there from, for example). It can even be the rear valve assembly if it has variable exhaust, or rear axle nuts... see the problem with remote diagnosis? .
