Track Oil
I just wanted to share a little info for our vette forum brothers.
I recently purchased a 2019 GS for the track and the track only. Heat is an issue. Not brakes, per se, but engine.
We were seeing oil temps in the 290 to 300 range.
Removed front under fascia and rear, used Mobil 1 20-50 weight.
Dropped temps to the 270 - 280 range.
I would not recommend 20-50 around the street but it did make a difference for track days. Hope this helps.
Will update with after market oil cooler and see what we can do with that.

20-50 or 15-50 which is one of GM's recommendations? Mid 270s oil temps are fine. Try the new Dexos 2 rated Mobil 1 ESP 0W40. Once I started running that my engine temps dropped about 5 degrees from what I was seeing with the M1 15W50 oil. Shouldn't need to remove the under tray.
