I rotated mine to lower the car, having the bolts get higher, except when it moved up the threads were twice as wide there. Assume they're wider in the spring or ?
Also, what causes it to cease turning when at its limit... I don't see any 'stops' ?

It hits the limit when it bottoms out against the suspension. It can't turn any further. That rubber washer at the bottom stops it.

So, with lowering bolts you could have the spring bang against the lower control arm as without the bushings, they'd sit down inside the arm. If so, gotcha.
ow, I need to know why my bolts have double sized thread rising thru the spring when I lower it ???

What does the bolt thread into? I think it's a threaded insert... The insert may be coming unscrewed. Should look something like this. If this is happening. Maybe it needs glue to repair.

It sounds like you didn't relieve the pressure on the spring before you made the adjustment. Oops!

No, I did all that... Just the bolt is stuck in the insert, pulled it out of the spring - not all the way. I rotated it back in; guess I'll leave it alone.

Maybe some liquid wrench would allow the lowering bolt to move.
