What is the difference of stealth mode and tour mode on the exhaust/performance if any?

Stealth is obviously quieter. The power difference is negligible.

In Tour Mode the muffler valves will open under certain conditions. In Stealth Mode they will not open unless the driver is operating the engine at full power and high rpms. That is why owners that track their cars on tracks that have noise limits can't just use Stealth mode. Under full power those valves open. Winging the throttle in neutral in the parking lot doesn't produce enough power to open the valves even if you go wide open throttle. It takes less than 5 HP to spin the engine to high rpms in neutral.

The early model year C7's don't have stealth mode. For example my 2014 only has AUTO or OFF under Engine Sound Management despite having the NPP system.
