Steering column position malfunction
Hi All, My steering wheel positioning seems to have failed (2014 3lt vert). Column will move in and out but not up and down. Up and down doesn't respond to the switch nor does it move when the auto exit or memory recall functions are used. Both in and out and up and down seem to be fed by the same fuse so probably not that.
Anyone else experienced this?

Well, if you have access to a GDS2 scan tool it would be trivial to diagnose the switches and the motor. But you can also get access to the connectors at the Steering Column Position Control Module located above the pedals under the column. From there, you can check continuity and decide what needs replacing. I would guess that it's the motor since the auto functions are inop. The motor is located under the column.
