Does anyone have experience or hopefully even step by step instructions on how to retrofit or add a transmission cooler to a 2015 Z51 car? I'm 3 for 3 on overheating the transmission at track days including this past weekend when it was barely 60 degrees. Would prefer not to take a loss on selling the car and then buying a Grand Sport since a transmission cooler is only $300.

There's something else you could do.. heat wrap the exhaust pipes as far up around the transmission as you can. Does wonders.
Retrofitting the front cooler is not easy. Takes running hard lines under the rockers. Try that. Also LG Motorsports has parts to help that may be easier to install.
I shot an email to LG Motorsports yesterday. They mentioned very briefly on their website that they have retrofit kits, but I was curious the level of labor that would be required.
The exhaust pipe wrapping is actually something I haven't considered. Looking into it, I might go with the Katech transmission pan which holds more fluid and has gold heat shielding from the exhaust, Jet-Hot coat the exhaust, and then wrap it just to be 100% safe. I live in SoCal so not too worried about moisture buildup causing oxidation.

Wrap the exhaust before anything else. Might be enough. It made a surprisingly huge difference on both my cars. Like from overheating to not even thinking about it.
