Default Having trouble raising ride height

When I first bought my car I lowered it all the way on stock bolts, now I would like to raise it up a bit to help clear the front spoiler. I put a jack under the spring to take the load off but I couldn't get the bolts to turn to raise the car. What am I missing do you need to have this on a four post lift to evenly distribute the weight in order to raise the ride height?

If it's lowered all the way, then the bolts will now only turn one way. Try turning them the opposite way you were trying before. If that doesn't work, spray some WD40 on the bolts and leave them for a while.

What he said. If you lift the whole front or the whole rear when you do it you will have an easier time than trying to do it from the side.

Thanks I was turning them the correct direction, but perhaps they are frozen in place. I'll try lubricating them and then raising the whole front of the car.

I had to put a lot of pb blaster on the used car I bought. It was driven in the snow or so It seemed. Took effort to get them to turn.
