Default Multi purpose brake pads

I am looking for advice on a brake pad recommendation that will safely get me to an event, could be 1-3 hours of street driving and then use at the track for a mult day track event and then safely drive home. I am a begginner level driver but would like something with more shelf life at an extended track event like this.
I am driving a 2017 grandsport w manual trans.
Thanks guys

Track pads are OK to use when going to and from an event. Their cold bite may not be great so use caution. They will likely squeal too, but despite the noise are actually working fine. I do a 2 hour drive to and from Sebring on the race pads - zero problems. Just make sure to change your brake fluid to a DOT4 with a higher boiling point.

My experience with mixed use pads is by trying to be a jack-of-all-trades they tend to be a master-of-none.

I run PowerStop Z23 on the street and Raybestos ST-43 on the track with my Z51. Motul RBF 660 fluid.

Hell my raybestos st45s have been on the car for a few weeks since last event. They are pretty damn quiet still.

Perfectly fine to drive on them for days and days and days. Just dusty and might wear a bit quicker. They actually bite hard as hell, even cold. As has as CCB stock pads.

Plus on your way to the event you're likely driving a lot of highway so barely any brake usage.

As a beginner, you'd be fine with the stock pads. Having said that, driving on track pads to the track is fine. Mine has had track pads on it since last July (Carbotech XP12s, now XP20) since it only goes to the track, around the track, and back home from the track. Used to swap back and forth all the time, glad I stopped.
