Backfire?

2019 Stingray 1lt, a8, 2060 mi with performance exhaust: finally “got on it” shifted great thru up shifts. At last upshift I heard a “pop” let off without noticing anything. RPM at 5k. Did it one more time with same results. Drive mode was in sport. Is this normal?
