I know this upgrade came out a couple of years ago. Are the dealers still doing the upgrade? Does anyone have any experience on how the car drives with the upgrade. My vette is a 2014 with the z51 package.

I had the update performed on my '14 Z51 last October without any issues. I pretty much leave my car in Touring mode all of the time, and I got the upgrade because it was supposed to make Touring mode more comfortable. It is more comfortable, but the difference is somewhat subtle. Don't expect a night and day difference.
I have a 2015 Z51 and was very hesitant to spend the cash on this upgrade. How ever I took a chance and paid the 350 bucks (I think that was the cost) for what I imagine was a simple no labor (other than plugging in a harness) upgrade. It seemed an absurd amount to pay at the time but I wanted a more compliant ride. The highly respected dealer (Able Chev. in Rio Vista) said it would make a considerable difference from the stock settings that were on my car.
In my experience, this upgrade was a night and day difference from the stock programming. Just leaving the parking lot I could tell it was improved, no jarring feeling transitioning from parking lot to the street. On the drive home I was amazed at how dramatic of a change this made, it was like I was in a different car. By the time I got home I was all smiles with no regrets. It's worth the cost to do this upgrade, go get it!
I think the amount of change you perceive will be dependent on what programming is currently installed. My car had what was originally installed in 2015. I think there may have been some changes between the years, I'm not sure but it would make sense as to why some feel a small change and others a significant change. Track mode now feels as smooth as what touring mode was like (still firm but none of that jarring feeling I would get before with small irregularities in the road) and touring mode is down right plush. For anyone who has not done this I would say this should be your first modification!
I would offer that it really was a night and day upgrade, but I did it to have a more compliant ride in Tour, everything else it did was just a side benefit. In my opinion it was worth every penny, although at the time I thought it was too many pennies.
I would hurry to get the upgrade. At a certain point in time after production stops GM will stop selling the upgrade and if you don't have it then you won't be able to get it. They will not spend the $ to maintain the files and keep people trained on what the upgrade does. At some point some low level person will say to their manager, "This product hasn't been requested/purchased in xxxx time period, I suggest we remove it" and the manager will say go ahead.

The scary thing is, they could do that with anything on the car that requires programming. Basically everything on the car requires some kind of programming and setup procedure. At least in the past, you could theoretically dig up an old laptop, and discs, and keep some old scantools running. Now with everything being cloud based, GM (or any other manufacturer) can just flip a switch and it all goes away forever.
Kind of a side question to this. If you have a aftermarket tune can you still do this or does it also flash other programs that would screw with the custom tune

It only upgrades the suspension module. It won't mess with your engine tune.

2019 is the upgrade. GM took the 2019 software and made it available to the 14-18 cars.

Awesome..! Thanks for the reply. I just traded a 2015 for a 2019 and noticed right off the lot that the suspension was a lot more comfortable. It is a noticeable difference.
I had it done last year on my 14 Z51 and it is noticeable in Touring and Sport. Touring is smoother and more compliant without being loose and Sport is also more compliant over bumps with less jarring while also still being tight. I hope that makes sense!

Just got my Z done yesterday. It was well worth the investment as it rides better in all modes. Plus, my dealership only charged me $280!!
