Default Question, Z06 cradle, magnesium?
Question, is the cradle on the Z06 on the C7 magnesium? Was reading in the C6 area that the cradle in the Z06 was magnesium, didn't know if they continued the same practice into the C7.

No, I think the Z06 has the same aluminum cradles as the regular C7. The Z06 driveshaft is upgraded to carbon fiber.

I knew the torque tube was carbon fiber but I did not know the shaft was as well. I guess I learned something new today.

Correction: The Z06 torque tube is carbon fiber. The Z06 driveshaft, inside the torque tube is aluminum ( or steel?).
