So I know it will probably **** off a lot of folks on here, but I'm looking at using the back glass on another vehicle, a full on custom. Using C7 suspension, C7 back glass, and possibly the dash and center console.
Also using an LS3 with a custom Callies 8 counter weight forged crank in 3" stroke.
Nothing wrong with this. It should be a fun project.
Well I do know how some Corvette guys are.
Car I'm working on is a 1988 Fiero, I'm going to be running as much GM factory parts as I can, keeping as pure as possible. So far the only non GM part I'm going with is the transmission. I'm going to run a built Audi 01e, rated for 1k hp.
So I'm wanting the corvette glass to be a viewing window for the motor in the rear.
I have seen many Fieros with a Corvette engine and driven a few. It works well as the engine really is not the much heavier and it is mid-engine. Traction is a problem.
There is a guy on the fiero forum that has put c5 suspension under a Fiero, even using the mono leaf springs, I figured if I'm swapping suspension, why not go with the best I can get! Since we know there would not be any C8 suspension available.
