Code # P2635

So on Sunday , a few guys decided to go for a decent length run . Air temps were around 10 degrees , cold but OK . The car was pulling like a freight train . On the first part of the run we attained some high speed runs and all was good . We stopped for some food for half hour , on the second part of the run i decided to try a top speed run . As i said the cold air was great for the car . Well i hit the fastest speed yet ( for me that is ) when i slowed down i saw the CEL come on , any ideas to what it could be ?

Please excuse my lack of knowledge but when i had the car worked on two summers back , i had a Low side fuel system installed , is this different to the in tank pump ?

just wondering what was the outcome cuz my car is doing the same thing... thanks for the info

Mechanical fuel pump was busted . Replaced with new one which i do believe are the same ones that are used in the ZR1 .
After the tuner installed and had to re tune as the pump was pushing way more fuel .
I could even tell the difference when i picked up the car after he fixed it .

No other codes other than the original one mentioned 6 years ago .
Since the new pump was installed and the car re tuned its been working great again .
