Default Cam question

I'm seriously considering doing heads and cam on my car and doing it myself (with FRYEANT's instructional), that being said how are guys getting tuned afterwards if you're not tuning it yourself? Have the car towed there, drive gently, will it even start, etc? Sorry if it's a silly question, just trying to plan accordingly and really don't want to have my car towed somewhere if I don't have to. Thanks.

I haven't did a cam install yet, but when I put my blower on I did a remote tune with Pat G. I am very pleased with his work and he is super responsive.

You could pay for a tow or buy hp tuners and get a base line tune good enough to get you to your tuner. I think towing would be cheaper but it is nice to have your own hp tuners and credits linked to your car sometimes so i went with the hp tuner route.

Are you planning to pull the engine out or do it in the car?

I was gonna try to do it without pulling the engine for the simple fact that it would drive me crazy to pull the engine and not do the pistons and or full build lol.
