Default Redline for M7

I want to use Redline in my 2015 Z51 M7. I see that the GM (Delco) oil is #88861800, but I can't find the weight and other specs on it.
What is the viscosity of the GM oil and which Redline should I use?

Thanks

This is from the 2019 manual. I'd just try to match the dexos 5w-30 assuming street use.

Yes, I am talking manual transmission. I cannot find the specs in the manual. It only gives a GM part #.

Redline D4 ATF is the proper fluid for our M7. Definite improvement in shift quality. You can get a gallon jug for under $50; you'll need most of it.

I just checked the jug. The redline is an ATF and doesn't have a weight on the label.

Thank you.

I saw somewhere that the Z51 M7 holds 4.23 quarts. Was I dreaming?

During a fluid change it'll take just under 4. I use the D4 ATF in my GS. After the first fluid change around 1,000 miles, the shifting was much less notchy when cold and certainly smoother/less effort when at operating temp. I did a second change a couple weeks later and that eliminated all the notchiness when cold. I now do a fluid change once per year. No issues during track days with feel or transmission temps.

I also used D4 ATF in my 2013 GS with the same positive results. The TR6060 6 speed manual in the later C6s is the predecessor to the TR6070 in the C7.

The M7 requires a Dexron3 spec ATF.

I swapped to Redline D4 with positive results as well.

I changed mine, and, like most others, used a little under 1 gallon. Theory is that the transmission does not completely drain, so you need a little less than the specs. Nice change, by the way.

For those that have changed the fluid to something other than GM fluid, has anyone noticed any effect different at WOT shifting at redline?
If the fluid is too slippery, it might shift good at low RPM shifts, but at high RPM fast shift, the synchro's might not line up and you might get a missed shift. Has anyone noticed this happening with fluid other then GM?

Mine sees a LOT of time at high rpm. Not an issue with Redline D4 ATF.

Redline D4 ATF Is what I used in both my M6 and M7, great for cold weather shifting and helping the 1, 2, and 3, shifts.. The MGW on top also helped...
