I need some advice on tires for my 2017 GS convertible. I have done 13 track days 4 at spring mountain. Running with SCCA track nights and time trails intermediate level. Car stock with track alignment, roll bar and 4 point belts. Have been running Michelin Pilot Super sport with a treadware of 300. Have 3 track days on current set. Almost no street use. How many track days should i expect? What would anyone recommend for a replacement?

Most people say to get 18's to have any good choices. For stock rims I think most go with Toyo R888R's. Not sure of how long they'll last though.

I ran the matrix of 18” wheels versus getting another set of OEM wheels. I choose to get another set of wheels and run Cup 2 tires, they go pretty fast off their super grip status, say 6-8 twenty minute sessions. You have at least that much again before they cord but you are sliding around quite a bit. Hoosier makes a nice tire (A7,R7) that fits the rim, track only, for HPDE I would recommend the R7.
