Track finally opens
And wouldn’t you know it, probably the worst air/temp day of the year so far. Temp was 93 and the DA was over 3000’. Didn’t put on the NT05R’s and just went out on the Toyo R888Rs. Made three passes with the first being the best (10.95 @ 128, 1.69 60’) and the next two slowing a tenth each pass. I had a time and mph in mind but was off the mark a touch, but with better conditions, I think I would have been spot on.
BTW, I was pleasantly pleased at the way the Toyo’s performed. Hooked surprisingly well (probably lost a couple of tenths off the line) and all three passes were straight as an arrow.

Awesome , same thing happened here in Atlanta, whole time we were locked up we had great DA and weather , first week track opens DA was at 3,500 and temps in the 90's . We have great weather this week yearly cool and low DA but I don't think track is open Friday night as they have an event on Saturdat and Sunday
